The El Portillo Beach Resort is an all-inclusive vacation destination located on a 12-mile stretch of beach on the North Eastern Samana Peninsula, approximately two and a half miles from Las Terrenas.
The all-inclusive rate includes all meals, beverages, and most recreational opportunities. The all-inclusive plan includes all non-motorized water sports, daily activities, and one hour per day per guest for use of sports facilities like the tennis courts. The resort also has a swimming pool. Motorized water sports are available for an additional charge. Nighttime entertainment is live shows, live music, and a disco/nightclub. There are 148 rooms at the resort. Rooms and beach cabanas are available. Standard rooms offer one king-size or two double beds, a ceiling fan, telephone, an in-room safe (fee), balcony/terrace, and a private bathroom with shower and tub.
